Why Quizzes Still Work in 2025 (And How to Know Which One to Create)

Because fluffy personality quizzes are not going to cut it anymore. And the behind the scenes of my own quiz, what’s working, what I change and why I chose to build it with Try, Interact, and most importantly, how to choose the right quiz for your business, depending on what you sell, who you serve, and where you’re taking them. Now, let’s just be really clear. Not all quizzes are created equal. But the right quiz, with clear positioning, strong psychology, and a next step that makes sense, is still one of the best ways to warm up cold leads really quickly. Segment your audience based on buyer readiness, build trust before the pitch, and also set up a nurture sequence that doesn’t feel sleazy. Why? Because quizzes are personal. They’re engaging, they’re fast. In a world where attention spans are shorter than ever, that actually really matters. Think about it.

Instead of saying grab my free guide and hoping they actually read it, a quiz says take two minutes. Tell me who you are and I’ll give you what you actually need. It puts the spotlight straight on them and gives you the insight to show up smarter. But here’s the key. Quizzes only work when they solve a relevant problem and connect to your offer. Which brings me to the behind the scenes of my own quiz. So my quiz is called what visibility strategy matches your business personality. I wanted to segment my audience based on how they like to grow, whether they’re ready to scale, build influence or just get started. I wanted to lead them toward one of my two main offers, either my mastermind or the email growth club. And I wanted to gather better data. I wanted to know who they were, what they wanted, what’s tripping them up without a long form that they had to fill out. So the has been incredible.

In this first month there has been 239 total quiz views. 157 have started the quiz with 135 completing it. Which means 135 leads and a stunning 86% conversion rate. Let me say that again, 86% of people who started that quiz became leads. That is not a fluke, my loves. That is strategy. So what made this quiz convert so well? I think there’s a few reasons why it’s worked really well. Firstly, it’s curiosity driven.

People want to know what type of visibility leader they are. It feels personal, it feels fun, it feels insightful without it being cheesy. Right. It’s also aligned with my offers. So each of the four outcomes is tied to a deeper part of my rise framework. So whether they’re a reach queen or an empowered CEO, there’s a next step for them. I also tailored the follow up sequence so each result has its own email nurture sequence and to action. I’m not blasting everyone with the same like buy my thing pitch after they take the quiz.

I’m speaking their language from the moment that they opt in and I’m personalizing what I say to them based on the results that they get. So it feels super tailored. And then lastly, the data is helping me sell smarter. So I can now see that over 50% of people are influence builders which tells me exactly how to tweak my messaging, my lead magnets and my content going forward. So I want to make sure we are really clear if you are going to build a quiz this year, I need you to make sure that that it does these three things. That it reflects your ideal client’s desires, that it leads naturally into your offer, and then it gives you segmentation data that you can actually use. Don’t ask questions that have no meaning behind them. That might just be for fun.

You want to make sure that every single question that you put into this quiz gives you data that you can actually use to serve them better going forward. So, my loves, what quiz should you create? So maybe you’re wondering, like this sounds amazing, Kylie, but fuck, what quiz should I actually create? This is what I tell my clients. If you sell a signature offer, maybe it’s a coaching program, a mastermind, a service package. I want you to create a diagnostic quiz that helps people understand where they are versus where they want to be. For example, maybe it’s what’s blocking you from scaling to 10k months, right? So we’re going to create this diagnostic quiz, they’re going to show them the gap, and then of course your signature offer is going to be the next step you offer them. If you sell courses or digital products, create a personality style quiz with clear pathways. Maybe it’s something like what type of CEO are you? This is going to obviously give you really good data and point them in the direction of what course or digital product is the best next step for them. And if you’re more advanced and you want segmenting and personalization, I want you to create a quiz that helps you qualify them behind the scenes so you can tag them by readiness, revenue level or visibility type and let that shape your follow up.

So please, no Disney Princess vibes here. This has to be a meaningful asset that you’re creating for your business. We want to build revenue generating quizzes, not just lead magnets for fun. So again, think about what that final destination is, where you want to lead these new leads to where you want to take them. If it’s a signature offer, create a diagnostic type quiz, lead them to their next offer. And if it is a course or a digital product that you want to sell, create a personality style quiz with a clear pathway to that next best step for them. If your wheels are turning right now and you’re thinking like maybe it’s time to launch or maybe revive a quiz, I could not recommend train tracked more. It’s what I’ve used to build mine.
