Nope. Not on my watch.
In this episode, I’m sharing three ways to monetise your email list that have nothing to do with selling your own offers. No new product creation. No sales page for yourself. No emotional rollercoaster of a launch.

3 Ways to Monetise Your Email List That Aren’t Selling Your Own Offers
Here’s the deal – your email list is a business asset.
But most business owners treat it like a dusty treadmill they only hop on when they feel guilty.
They send a flurry of emails during a launch… and then ghost their subscribers until the next one.
The problem?
Your list should be always on, always working in the background, and not just something you ‘turn on’ when you’re going to sell something.
This is the strategy I’m using right now and it works.
Someone pays to get their offer featured in your email. You’re basically saying: “Hey, I’ve got an engaged audience who trusts me. Want me to introduce you?”
WHY IT WORKS:
HOW TO PRICE IT:
Pro tip: Keep it exclusive. If you promote everyone, your audience tunes out. Think of it like matchmaking!
Affiliate marketing = getting paid to share what you already love.
If you’re already raving about a tool, course, or service to your biz friends, check if they have an affiliate program. You could earn a commission every time someone buys through your link.
The key: Storytelling over selling.
Share:
Example: My Try Interact quiz funnel. I share my results, show my backend data, and then drop my affiliate link (you can see more detail about that here!)
No hard pitch – just “Here’s what I use and love – go check it out.”
This one’s a little more work upfront, but the payoff is big.
You gather a group of aligned business owners, everyone contributes something valuable, and you either:
It’s part monetisation, part visibility swap, part list-building powerhouse. And you’re not selling your thing – you’re curating something that makes your audience’s life easier.
If every email turns into a billboard, your open rates will tank.
Here’s my 80/20 monetization rule:
Pick one of these strategies and try it in the next 14 days:

Kylie Kelly [00:00:49]:
Are you ready to build your email list and start making more money in your online business? Let’s head into today’s episode.
Kylie Kelly [00:00:58]:
Hey, hey. Welcome back to the Email growth show episode 210. Now, my loves, I’m going to say something that might ruffle a few feathers. If the only time your email list makes you any money is when you’re launching your own offer, you are leaving some serious cash on the table. I mean, think about it. You’ve done all the hard work of growing this gorgeous list of humans who trust you. Open your emails, click your links, and then you let it sit there quietly until the next time you launch. And nope, not on my watch.
Kylie Kelly [00:01:27]:
Today I’m gonna give you three ways to monetize your email list that have nothing to do with selling your own offers. These are ways you can literally bring in cash this month without creating something new, without writing a sales page for yourself, and without the emotional rollercoaster of a full blown launch. And spoiler alert, I’m doing one of these strategies right now and it’s already paying off. So grab your coffee because this one’s gonna make your bank account and your inbox very happy. So why does this matter? Here’s the deal. Your email list is business asset, but most business owners treat it like a dusty old treadmill. They hop on when they feel guilty. They use it only when they’ve got something to sell and then go set subscribers until the next launch.
Kylie Kelly [00:02:07]:
Here is what happens when you do that. Your audience stops expecting to hear from you regularly. Your income becomes feast or famine. You miss out on easy, low effort revenue in between your launches. Your email list should be sexy. It should always be on. It should always be working in the background and not just something that you turn on when it’s time to sell something new. So let’s get into three ways to monetize your email list without selling your own offers.
Kylie Kelly [00:02:32]:
And you do not need to have a big list to implement these. Whatever list size you have right now, you can do these strategies with Just keep in mind that your expectations around how much you sell might need to be in line with the size of your audience. But these will still work. So number one is sponsored email spots. This is the one that I am using this very week and this is as simple as it sounds. Someone pays to get their offer feature featured in your email. You’re basically saying, hey, I’ve got an engaged audience who trusts me. Would you like me to introduce you why it works? The sponsor gets access to a warm aligned audience, you get paid and your subscribers get introduced to something genuinely useful because you’re picky and only feature aligned offers of course.
Kylie Kelly [00:03:17]:
Now how do you price this? Now look, if you have a smaller email list, you might want to think about $97 to $147 per spot. It’s a great starting point. However, if your email list is highly engaged or if you have a n niche audience, 197 to 297 or even more is more than fair. You can also bundle spots or even add upsells like I’ll write the copy for you. This is exactly what I’m offering this week for an extra $77. Now a little pro tip. Keep it exclusive. If you promote everyone, your list is going to tune out.
Kylie Kelly [00:03:49]:
Think of it more like matchmaking. And yes, if you want to see exactly how I’m doing this or grab one of the last spots, check the link in the show notes for details. Now strategy number two is affiliate promotions, also known as the Get Paid to Share what yout Love strategy. Now you know the tools, courses and services that you’re already raving about to your friends. If they have an affiliate program, you could be earning commission every time someone buys through your link. The key here though is storytelling over selling. Don’t just drop a link and hope for the best. Take your audience behind the scenes.
Kylie Kelly [00:04:23]:
Share with them. How do you use it? What kind of transformation has it given you or your business? Why is it worth investing in? As an example, last week’s episode was all about my quiz funnel. How I got 135 leads in just 30 days from one quiz without paid ads. And inside that episode I talked about try Interact, which is where I host my quiz, I talked about the results, I showed the backend data, and then I casually dropped my affiliate link. There was no hard pitch, just here’s what I use, what I find really easy and what I love. Go and check them out. You can do the same thing too. Think about the software that you use, the courses that you’ve taken.
Kylie Kelly [00:04:59]:
What do you use every day in your business that you can do a quick search on and see if there is an affiliate program they offer. Even the smallest amounts add up over time. So make a list and go and do some research. Now, the third strategy is collaborative paid bundles. This one’s a little more work upfront, but the payoff can be huge. Similarly to the bundle strategy that I often teach. When the focus is list growth, you can actually do something very similar with a paid bundle. When the focus is revenue, you simply pull together a group of aligned business owners.
Kylie Kelly [00:05:31]:
Everyone contributes something valuable and then you either sell the bundle and split the profits or you can charge contributors a flat fee for access to your audience. It’s part monetization, part visibility swap, part list building freaking powerhouse, right? And the beauty is you’re not selling your thing. You’re curating a collection that makes your audience’s life easier. So how do we do this? How do we do this without diluting our own audience? Without losing trust with the subscribers that we have built? Because yes, these strategies can be super lucrative. But if every email turns into a billboard, you’re going to tank your open rates faster than you can say unsubscribe. So here is my Kylie approved rulebook. Only feature what you would spend your own money on. Give before you take.
Kylie Kelly [00:06:16]:
I aim for 80% nurture, 20% promotion at all times. Be transparent. Always tell people if it’s a sponsored email or an affiliate link and curate with intention. Your audience should trust that if you’re featuring something, it’s because it’s genuine, genuinely worth their time. So here is your challenge. Pick one of these strategies and try it in the next 14 days. Want some real fast cash? Offer some sponsored email spots? Want Evergreen Set and Forget Income? Affiliate promotions will be your best friend. Or do you want list growth and income all in one? Give a collaborative paid bundle a try.
Kylie Kelly [00:06:55]:
And if you want to skip the guesswork, I’ve got a few sponsored email spots left for this month. The link is in the show notes. Imagine opening your stripe account and seeing money land without launching a damn fucking thing. It is a great feeling. And above all else, I want you to remember your email list isn’t a love letter delivery system, it’s a revenue stream. So please start treating it like the powerful business asset that it is. All right my loves, that’s it for this week. I will see you next Friday.
Kylie Kelly [00:07:22]:
Or perhaps I’ll see you in your inbox before then, maybe with your business featured front and center. I love you loads. Thanks again for being here. Bye for now. Thank you so much for tuning into.
