THE EMAIL GROWTH SHOW EPISODE 224
Have you ever looked ahead to a new year and thought, I know I want it to feel different… but how do I actually plan for that?
That’s exactly where I am right now.
So today, I’m taking you behind the scenes of how I’m planning 2026 in a way that honours my life, my energy, my family, and the empire I’m building.
This isn’t about creating a colour-coded planner that you abandon by February.
And it’s definitely not about pretending you’re going to wake up on January 1st with unlimited energy and a brand new personality.
This is about creating a year that actually holds you.
TL:DR
What you’ll learn in this episode:
– Life First, Business Second: Learn to map out personal priorities first, ensuring your business supports your lifestyle rather than the other way around.
– Leveraging Data & Reflections for Better Decisions: Understand how to use data from 2025 to inform your strategies and set goals.
– Crafting Revenue Goals with Flexibility: Set income targets without feeling locked in, leaving room for new opportunities and inspiration.
– Sync Your Life & Business Calendar: Find out how aligning your calendar with personal events and business goals prevents burnout and keeps motivation high.

If you want clarity on how to grow your business in 2026 without relying on big launches, constant output, or pushing past your capacity, this is your starting point. I’ll personally review your visibility, offer flow, and email ecosystem, then send you a simple 3-step action plan you can implement immediately – grounded in what you can realistically hold.
The last year has changed me.
You’ve probably felt it in my content.
In my grounding.
In my clarity and confidence.
And because of that, 2026 cannot be planned the way I used to plan.
I don’t want a year that looks impressive on paper but feels exhausting to live inside.
I want a year that supports how I show up as a mother, a partner, a business owner, and a woman building something deeply intentional.
So here are the four steps I’m using to map the year ahead.
This is the biggest shift I’ve made in how I plan.
I used to start with launches, revenue goals, and visibility plans, then try to squeeze my life into whatever space was left.
That’s how burnout happens.
That’s how resentment builds.
That’s how you end up feeling like an employee in your own business.
Now, the very first thing I do is open my calendar and block out what matters most.
School holidays.
Family commitments.
Travel.
Downtime.
I plan around seasons of high energy and seasons where I need more rest.
I don’t stack launches in school holiday chaos.
I don’t overload January after a big December.
And I build recovery time around my Empire Expansion Events because guiding dozens of women through deep work deserves space afterwards.
Life is not an afterthought.
It’s the foundation.
Before I plan forward, I always look back.
Not through the lens of what I did wrong, but through compassion and curiosity.
I scroll my camera roll.
I review my email list growth month by month.
I reflect on when I felt alive and when I felt stretched too thin.
I look at:
This kind of reflection gives you data you can’t get anywhere else.
It shows you patterns.
And once you can see the patterns, you can plan with far more clarity.
This one matters more than most people realise.
I am no longer willing to build a business that demands more than I can realistically give.
Before I map revenue goals or projections, I ask one simple question.
What do I actually have capacity for?
Not the fantasy version of me.
Not the hyper-optimistic January version of me.
The real version of me.
The mum.
The partner.
The woman running a household and supporting clients deeply.
Once I’m honest about capacity, I can build revenue plans that feel grounded instead of stressful.
This is how sustainable scaling happens.
Not by forcing more.
By creating smarter.
Once I have my life in the calendar, I’ve reflected on the past year, and I understand my capacity, I start sketching the structure of the year ahead.
Not rigid plans.
Architecture.
Launch seasons.
Event seasons.
Evergreen focus.
Quiet creation time.
Rest and recovery windows.
Every plan must include room for being human.
White space matters.
Flexibility matters.
Permission to change matters.
This isn’t about getting it perfect.
It’s about creating a structure that supports you instead of squeezing you.
And when your year supports you, everything else changes.
Your content lands deeper.
Your offers feel easier.
Your confidence expands.
Your business grows.
As you start thinking about 2026, I want you to know this.
You don’t need to rush.
You don’t need a perfect planner.
You don’t need unrealistic expectations.
You get to build a year that honours your energy, your life, and the woman you’re becoming.
And that is powerful.
If, as you’re mapping out 2026, you realise you want clarity, perspective, or support holding the big picture of your business, this is exactly what my Business Breakthrough Audit is designed for.
We’ll look at your visibility, list growth, and offers through the lens of the empire you’re building.

P.S. You don’t need a more disciplined plan. You need one that supports you on your hardest days as well as your best ones.
